A few bands from the Netherlands

Gewapend Beton
The band members were 13 when they started the band in 2003, retaining the old school hardcore energy of masculine puberty that was the movement's essence when it first came around nearly 30 years ago.

Brat Pack
Although this dutch band features the singer from Citizen's Patrol, Kenny, the two bands are incommensurable. Brat Pack is mature hardcore in every way, with a clean guitar sound and solos that almost step over to the thrash metal realm, and mild routine theme lyrics (such as "i really hate the neighbors"). Considered by many the best contemporary hardcore band in Holland.

Citizens Patrol
Raw, fast and loud. The singer is wild on stage and the live energy definitely emanates from the record. Both 7"s are great and a full LP is on the way. Keep your eyes out- No Way Records.

Sick Mormons
Band from Amsterdam; shares two members with Gewapend Beton but was formed 4 years later. The original idea was to start a band "in the style of old LA bands" and, as planned, they are very melodic and do live up to their goal. According to them, the singer's lack of enthusiasm was premeditated; it really does work so well, giving the band a perfect balance.
