This Crack isn't the German Oi band but a power pop group from Hull. Their only release is 1980's "Making The Effort/Easy Street" single. I don't know much more about them than that as I've never seen this single in person or for sale anywhere. "Making the Effort" is a respectable song in the vein of the Criminals with some nonsense lyrics about being in a band and/or killing people? It is the b-side "Easy Street" that is the real standout. Initially, it comes off a bit lightweight, but the catchy guitar hook and classic lyrics about living in a shitty apartment where "the plaster falls into your cowboy boots" are addictive.
