UK Decay were pretty much a post punk band that dabbled in ethereal type music. They were a major influence on the emerging wave of darker bands such as the sisters of mercy, Sex Gang Children and Southern Death Cult, but once the post punk/goth scene began to catch on UK Decay was kind of left in the dust til they played at Drop Dead Festival in Lisbon, Portugal last summer.

Very cool, though 'For My Country' goes under the category of 'dont need to hear again' with songs like 'the kids are united' and 'gary gilmores eyes'. Still, very cool!
