Dave Vanian and the Phantom Chords

"Dave Vanian and the Phantom Chords
(a.k.a. (the) Phantom Chords) were a 1990s British band, featuring The Damned's Dave Vanian on vocals. Playing rockabilly and gothic rock, they performed a mixture of covers and new material."

Screamin' Jay Hawkins

MAD EARLY ROCKABILLY? (with some soul)
this guy rules, look at his outfit and the set.
He could even be called a punk at this time, because he was so fucking crazy and wild. Can you imagine seeing this in 1956, it would probably be like nothing you had ever seen before.
I PUT A SPELL ON YOU

kings of nuthin'

Band formed in Boston in the 90s described as "8 punks trying to re-create an authentic rock and roll sound, failing to do so, and inventing a very unique new sound." I wish they didn't break up, their shows are supposed to be crazy, with pianos, and horns on fire and a lot of ruckus. They sound like, as Ali puts it, Blood of Blood doing rockabilly.

Get Busy Livin' Or Get Busy Dyin' and a few other songs I have.
