This album blows my mind every time I hear it. These guys were from Cleveland, and are along the lines of other hometown greats The Pagans, and Rocket From The Tombs. There is something special about this record. This shit was cut in 1975! The first time I heard this, was a couple years ago. I thought that it was some weirdo fucked up Rip Off Records album that somehow slipped by me. I literally had to check 4 times just to make sure this record was for real. The Electric Eels really give The Stooges a run for their money, as far as being the original uncomfortable, angry adolescent rock and roll band in the cesspool that was Middle America in the 70's. I think that this is like a blueprint for everything that I ever want to do musically. It's really a shame that these guys do not get the recognition they deserve, for their originality and creativity. Just fucking listen to this, it's amazing.
