NOMI NOW?

KLAUS NOMI.
I'm waiting to hear his songs at dance parties.
He was big on the club performance circuit in the 80s,
(and in my opinion partly inspired the club kid movement, he was at least one of the first ones with the avant garde outfits.)
He infuses a mixture of classical opera, with new wave dance beats and an extraterrestrial/art deco style.
Here are some wonderful songs
LIGHTNING STRIKES (delightful)

SIMPLE MAN (danczy)

NOMI SONG (magnanimous)

Ah, awesome you posted this! When I worked at Tower Records my boss would blast Klaus Nomi at the most inopportune times. Klaus was like the true space-king of 'new wave', long after Ziggy Stardust had commited 'Rock & Roll Suicide'. Keep it going, more similar posts!!!
