INSOMNIO

Insomnio is a contemporary hardcore band from Spain. 

The "Walking on the String" EP is tight and raw, with rockn'roll guitar solos and melodic vocals. "No Escape" LP is only better than the EP because it has more songs; it's a masterpiece. The guitar is more melodic in this one, giving a more uplifting rhythm. They cover Iggy's "Search and destroy" and I honestly think it's better than the original; the guitar is tighter rather than sloppy while the singing is raw rather than whiny. 

Their most recent record is the "Happy Loneliness" LP; a little popy-er and rockn'roller but still retains the qualities the band has had all along.

There will be some shows in the U.S. finally! They are coming this summer for the 3rd No Way Fest (20 and 21st of June) where they will be playing with Zero Boys, and doing a east coast tour after that.
