This guy is the craziest mother fucker ever. 1968. Features the keyboard player from Atomic Rooster. darkthrone cited this guy as an influence, soooooooo weird.

No, Zappa and The Mothers actually worked/took influence from Arthur Brown.

I've heard that opening clip so many times, heard the actual song at a bar once too, but didn't know who it was. Obviously "The Coop" took some ques from this guy. Regardless of who is interpreting it, or in what era, whether it's Screaming Jay, David Bowie, or Siouxsie & the Banshees, the combination of music and theater is an obvious combination. Did anyone post Screaming Lord Sutch yet?

Most definitely. There are other weird avant-garde short films where Arthur Brown is playing on fire in front of a bunch of millionaires. I was just going to post Screaming Lord Sutch and His Heavy Friends.
